O Pooh!

Don’t you love running into things? Driving along for hundreds of miles, and suddenly, when you least expect, a bright yellow bear, sweet as hunny, crosses your path! Brakes on and off we exited a dusty, pebbly road.

In July, we were surprised with this sight. The regular pooh bear, drooling over a pot of honey, surrounded by a pretty little garden, with bright, happy flowers. Here are some adorable words by sweet old Pooh and friends.

Piglet: “How do you spell ‘love’?”
Pooh: “You don’t spell it…you feel it.”

Pooh: “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

Piglet: “The things that make me different are the things that make me.”

“People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.”

And this is strange. When my kids were growing up, I didn’t think that I would ever find Pooh interesting to all ages. Apparently, it has become relevant to me as I read it, looking for quotes,

“When you are a Bear of Very Little brain, and you Think Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.”

And, last but not least, the Rabbit, kind of like me.😋

“Hello, Rabbit,” he said, “Is that you?”
“Let’s pretend it isn’t,” said Rabbit, “And see what happens.”
